The National Museum of Art, o Museo Nacional de Arte in Mexico City is located in this amazing building! It was finished in 1911. It was constructed by the Italian Silvio Contri. It is built in a very classical european style, specifically italian and french. This building was originally called "Communications Palace" and hosted the Ministry of Communications and Transportation. It was meant to reflect prosperity and economical stability under Porfirio Diaz's presidency. If you are someone who likes Art History, this is the place to visit. You'll love it!
El Museo Nacional de Arte o "munal" esta ubicado en este maravilloso edificio en la Cd. de Mexico. Se termino de construir en 1911. Fue construido por el Italiano Silvio Contri. El estilo del edificio es clasico europeo, especificamente italiano y frances. Este edificio se llamo originalmente "Palacio de Comunicaciones" y albergaba a la Secretaria de Comunicaciones y Transportes.
