H1N1

I got H1N1 the night I went tot the theater to watch Julie & Julia. After seeing the movie, which I loved because I love cooking and everything French, I was so motivated to work in consistently writing here. That night I had a 104 F temperature and all my good intentions faded away with my strength and energy. This weekend is the first one I've felt like my old self since I got sick. I must admit it hasn't been the longest I've had cold/flu symptoms. It has been the strongest symptoms I've felt, though. So, a friend suggested I needed to read the book as well. So here I am reading away. I am enjoying it but I wish I could get Amy Adams off my mind every time I read it. I wish I could see a picture of her (the real Julie Powell, so I can get my images right :).

  1. Zarahi I hope you are feeling better! I heard that the H1N1 virus has been rampant in the Portland area. I think it is bad here too, but I just don't hear about it as much because I don't read the German newspaper or watch German television. We had one case (that I heard about) so far at my school, but I have a feeling it is going to get a lot worse because we just had fall break and many families traveled to other countries.

    Take care!
